Michael C. Troy
Owner/Chairman
A native New Yorker, Michael Troy was a successful entrepreneur and business owner before he was drawn to the shipping industry. He joined Maersk Lines, then after a time moved to Trans Senko, an NVOCC based in Chicago, where he was assigned to set up and operate their New York office. Within a few years his entrepreneurial instincts took over and he founded what is now Troy Container Line.

Mr. Troy oversees the overall operation of the company, with special attention to expansion of facilities, services and routes. It is his drive and foresight that is ultimately responsible for the company's reputation for providing the ultimate in personalized customer service and satisfaction.

Patricia L. Fitzgerald
Senior Vice President
All LCL export operations at Troy Container Line are handled by Tricia Fitzgerald who works closely with customers and agencies throughout the world. She is backed by three years experience as director of international sales and marketing at Troy Container Line.

Tricia's solid industry background includes a vice presidency at Cargo Connection, and sales and management positions at Fleet Lines and Independent Cargo Express. She holds a degree in International Business from Schiller International University in Paris, has studied in London, and is a member of the board and former governor of Foreign Commerce Club.

Gopal Roy
Vice President of Finance
The solid financial position of Troy Container Line is in the hands of Gopal Roy's Freight Cashier department, responsible for the company's fiscal operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and export/import freight releases.

Gopal came to Troy Container Line in 2000 after six years as manager of the Freight Cashier department at Mediterranean Shipping Company (USA) and more than two decades at Corporacion Del Cubre (USA) Inc.

Thomas M. Sciro
Vice President, Information Technology
Tom is responsible for all aspects of Troy Container Line's information system including the design, implementation and maintenance of Troy’s proprietary enterprise software, network administration, website development, email and fax systems, document archiving, e-commerce, AES compliance and staff training. With a background in engineering, Tom is familiar with the importance of a flexible design and a  "perfect fit" with state-of-the-art technology. He also coordinates Troy's CTPAT membership.

With more than 20 years experience in the IT requirements of the shipping industry, Tom successfully ran his own consulting firm specializing in transportation software solutions for NVOs, freight forwarders, CFSs, trucking companies and the air freight industry before joining Troy Container Line in 1998. This familiarization allows Troy’s IT system to interface gracefully with all aspects of the shipping industry.

Chris Hellow
Vice President, Imports
Chris began his Troy career as an FCL Customer Service Representative in February 1998, from which he moved into sales. Later, Chris returned to the FCL department as manager, and when the opportunity arose to join the Import Department as operations manager, Chris jumped in. After a few years, Chris was promoted to his current position, vice president, and has been in charge of Import ever since. When asked about his tenure at Troy, Chris notes that many learning opportunities within the company, along with challenges associated with his new responsibilities, have given him experience in export, import and customer service. In 2008, Chris relocated to North Carolina, where he opened Troy’s Charlotte office and feels the industry experience he gained over the years will be invaluable to the success of the new venture in Charlotte.
